A GENEROUS GIFT WILL PROVIDE The nature for healing
A generous gift from a grateful family member of two Silver Hill Hospital patients will transform the lawn in front of the Main House to a field of wildflowers, complete with water feature and pedestrian walkways.
“These landscaping improvements have been sought for many years, but funding had not been available,” President and Medical Director Andrew J. Gerber, MD, PhD, says. “We are
deeply honored by this gift from the grateful family of Silver Hill patients.”

The project is expected to begin in the summer and largely completed by the fall, though the new wildflowers will take a few years to be fully established. The water feature will include a sitting area with WiFi so meetings or group sessions may be held there.
The pedestrian walkways will serve the dual purpose of adding aesthetic beauty to the property and enhancing
safety on the West Campus by keeping pedestrians off the roads and driveways.
