Established in 1931 and nestled in a bucolic New England setting, Silver Hill Hospital is one of the nation’s preeminent psychiatric hospitals. Located on 44 scenic acres in New Canaan, Connecticut, it is widely recognized for the excellence of its mental health and addiction services for adults and adolescents. Our clinical staff is among the best in the country, and our low patient-to-physician ratio ensures a high degree of treatment personalization.
Silver Hill offers a true continuum of care with three levels of treatment so patients can move seamlessly from one level to the next depending on their needs. Inpatient care is for acute psychiatric conditions and detoxification. Residential care is on-campus extended treatment for patients with stable symptoms who are proceeding with their recovery. Intensive outpatient services allow patients who have been discharged to continue treatment and skills development at Silver Hill.
