Lisa Goldenberg, LCSW
“Therapy is most effective when the clinician and the patient partner together to create healthy change.”
Healthy change is what clinical social worker Lisa Goldenberg, LCSW, seeks to direct in her therapeutic partnership with patients in both the Women’s Intensive Outpatient and Transitional Living programs.
To Lisa, it’s a real joy “to work on a team of smart and kind professionals who help one another to treat each individual patient.”
Her duties include individual and group therapy and family counseling, primarily for patients with both mood disorders and substance abuse issues.
“This partnership with patients,” says Lisa, “allows for trust and collaboration in setting realistic, healthy and attainable goals.”
Lisa conveys to each of her patients that “together we can create a plan that eases your suffering, and allows you to learn and practice coping skills that can have a profound impact on your sense of competency, capabilities and self worth.”
