This talk will focus on disordered eating, considering definition, the spectrum of disordered eating and eating disorders, and diagnostic criteria for specific eating disorders. We will also review assessment and treatment strategies for this population.
Educational Objectives
As a result of participating in this activity, learners should be able to:
1. Review the concept of disordered eating, and the spectrum with eating disorders
2. Explain formal diagnostic criteria and presentations for common eating disorders
3. Review targeted assessment and treatment strategies for disordered eating
