Although there is great interest in the potential clinical utility of cannabis products for medical indications and a growing list of states that have approved cannabis for both medical and recreational use, there is a growing population of adolescents and adults that experience problematic use. This talk will focus on medications that have been studied to treat cannabis withdrawal and cannabis use disorder. Medications that have shown the most promise will be discussed as well as future areas of investigation.

Discuss the need for treatments that target cannabis use disorder

Describe the symptoms associated with cannabis withdrawal

Explain pharmacologic interventions that might be useful in treating cannabis use disorder
