   having this unit. That is so important for these patients. It really impacted the satisfaction of patients after their experience of going on and off the bus. Now they have a lovely environment.
“It’s been so much more beneficial for patients and satisfying for us because we can work as a team. People can tell we are all simpatico.”
Main 2 now has eight bedrooms and a host of upgrades such as a meeting room, group therapy room, music room, state-of-the-art exam room, two nursing stations, and a small comfort room complete with
Yogibo bean bags.
A roomy lobby has several couches, a large television and extensive selection
of board games. Numerous safety features were required to convert the space to an inpatient unit. An important addition is the new seclusion room.
The renovation of Main 2 is another way your support is helping Silver Hill better care for our patients.
  “There’s a wide range of people. Corporate people, artists, young people, old people. That’s why I like it here. The group sessions have been super helpful,” Natasha said. “Silver Hill, for sure, has changed my life.”
In addition to continuing Intensive Outpatient Program treatments at Silver Hill, Natasha is now working part-time and taking classes towards her master’s degree.
       She is considering studying architecture, inspired in part by the beauty of the Silver Hill campus.
Natasha is proof of the great work Silver Hill Hospital does every day and said she is profoundly appreciative of the hospital’s supporters.
    “I look at situations differently and have a more positive outlook,” Natasha said. “For the first time in a long time, I have hope.”

    “The visual aesthetics of Silver Hill make it what it is,” Natasha said. “It’s beautiful and doesn’t feel like a psychiatric hospital. How beautiful the campus and the Main House are... it really makes a difference.”
