ROCCO MAROTTA, M.D., PH.D.
The Center, through generous philanthropic support, now has four exceptional physicians, led by Dr. Marotta. Meriwether Brown, M.D., came to Silver Hill in late 2020 to allow Dr. Marotta to mentor a psychiatrist to continue his work. Dr. Brown has nearly 20 years of experience as a child and adolescent psychiatrist.
More recently, Howard Weiner, M.D., and Suma Srisaila, M.D., joined the Center’s team. Dr. Weiner is a longtime member of the Silver Hill Hospital medical staff. He studied and did his residency and
fellowship at the University of Michigan. Dr. Srisaila joined the team after serving as Associate Director, Department of Behavioral Health at Northern Westchester Hospital in Mount Kisco, N.Y.
“I don’t think there’s another program in the country like this that has four doctors of this caliber,” Andrew J. Gerber, M.D., Ph.D., says.
The growing clinical team allows Dr. Marotta to have more time to pursue his research and share his findings with others in the field.
