“Jump fully in when you’re here. Those patients who take advantage of all we have to offer have the best experience.”
Deputy Chief Operating Officer for Clinical Operations, Alexa Pazniokas, LCSW encourages each patient to take full advantage of the hospital’s evidence-based treatments and unique programs.
Alexa oversees, hires and schedules all of the Residential Program’s residential counselors. These counselors manage day-to-day patient activities in the residential units. “Every staff member we have is really passionate about what they do,” notes Alexa.
Alexa focuses on the importance of communication in a collaborative team among residential counselors, clinical social workers, nurses, psychiatrists, and patients. “It’s about making
sure everyone is always on the same page about each patient,” says Alexa.
This teamwork is a source of enduring satisfaction to Alexa. “It’s so great to collaborate with staff who are excited about their work, and who all share the same goal of providing the best care possible.”
