Silver Hill Academy for Research and Education (SHARE)
SHARE—Advancing Research and Education
Just as the seeds of trees travel by gravity, wind, water, and animals to germinate, grow, and enrich entire landscapes, so do ideas and scholarship. SHARE, the Silver Hill Academy for Research and Education, was built on this premise and conceived as an avenue for advancing the study and field of mental health.
Silver Hill believes that the best way forward is through scholarship and connection — collaborating with other experts and clinicians in the field and sharing information, insights, research, and progress. Both a new institution founded in 2023, and a formalization of long-term Silver Hill Hospital programs, each branch of SHARE aims to extend and inform the landscape of mental health.
Branches of SHARE
Every year, SHARE hosts a series of educational presentations, workshops, and conferences for clinicians earning continuing education credits. As of June 2024, Silver Hill Hospital has hosted 12 Grand Rounds presentations by experts in the field reaching nearly 4000 attendees. The Grand Rounds series breaks for the summer and will resume in September. Learn more ››

2024-2025 Theme
Loneliness and Connection
In 2024 and 2025, SHARE is exploring the theme of Loneliness and Connection. By no means a modern or unfamiliar concept, Loneliness has recently been declared an epidemic, crossing generations, countries, and cultures. Loneliness comes in many forms, not all of them visible to the naked eye, yet all of them impactful to our physical and mental health, emotional wellbeing, and ability to accomplish and thrive.
