Who We Treat
An Environment of Expertise
In recognizing the uniqueness of individuals under our care, we also recognize the shared life experiences and specialized needs of three distinct groups: Adults, Adolescents, and Executives and Professionals. We treat each of these groups separately on our campus, while providing each with expert treatment, sensitivity, respect, and nurturing care unsurpassed by other mental health facilities in Connecticut, the Northeast or beyond.
Treatment for Adults
As an adult seeking help for a psychiatric disorder, you need the space to disengage for a time from your daily life as you heal. You need support to reengage and reconnect with family, friends and commitments when you feel ready. We give you that space and that support. The skilled and caring clinicians of Silver Hill share your journey every step of the way.
From addictions to psychoses to personality disorders, we have the knowledge and the staff to customize treatment to suit your needs at any given time. Our three seamless levels of care include Inpatient, Transitional Living and Intensive Outpatient – all on one campus for convenient access.
The hallmarks of our adult program are warm and respectful care coupled with clinical expertise and evidence-based therapy.
Treatment for Adolescents
Because teens have different needs than adults, we provide separate programs and facilities within the Silver Hill campus so we can focus on their unique requirements.
We have adolescent treatment for teens, ages 13 – 17, who struggle with mood disorders, anxiety disorders and co-occurring self-harming behaviors, or substance abuse disorders. Our three seamless levels of care include Inpatient, Transitional Living and Intensive Outpatient.
As an adolescent patient at Silver Hill, you will be under the care of a compassionate, approachable and specially trained professional staff. We are committed to helping you through the issues you face while providing support and guidance to your family.
