Christy Aherne

As the Chief Human Resources Officer at Silver Hill Hospital, Christy Aherne helps drive the hospital’s mission by supporting employees’ financial, emotional, and physical wellbeing. She oversees the hospital’s employee engagement and culture initiatives to foster an inclusive environment for all Silver Hill teammates, and is also in charge of the hospital’s compensation, benefits, and HR planning processes.

Christy previously served as the Vice President of Human Resources for Surgical Care Affiliates. She holds an MA in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Montclair State University and a BA in Psychology from Ramapo College of New Jersey.

Christy is passionate about Silver Hill’s mission to transform the lives of people impacted by mental health and addiction and is inspired by the staff who work tirelessly to make a difference in people’s lives.
