Emily Longo, LMFT
Emily Longo, LMFT, Director of Family Therapy, leads the development of family-centered care across the hospital and integrates family therapy as a treatment modality. In her role, Emily leads the professional development of clinicians and trainees, supporting high-quality care grounded in equity and long-term impact.
Emily brings over a decade of experience working with adolescents and families across community, outpatient, and hospital settings, with a strong focus on trauma-informed and systems-based care. She earned her master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Fairfield University and will earn her PhD in Social Work at the University of Connecticut this Spring. Emily is deeply committed to strengthening families and partnering with communities to support mental health, connection, and long-term well-being.
