Exciting Updates at The Lodge Program for Psychotic Disorders
Under the leadership of Laura Gardner, MD, who joined Silver Hill in the fall of 2025, Silver Hill’s residential program for the treatment of psychotic disorders is being refreshed with new modalities and enhanced strategies. These include the ongoing development and implementation of:
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Psychosis (CBTp)
- Expanded nutrition and exercise components
- Increased family programming
- Cognitive remediation therapy
Dr. Gardner joined Silver Hill following 14 years at Northern Westchester and Montefiore Medical Center inpatient facilities where she held leadership positions and treated patients with serious mental illness. The shift to Silver Hill’s residential program, with a minimum six-week length of stay, affords Dr. Gardner and the extended clinical team more time with patients to set the foundation for impactful, life-altering change.
Following are several resources to further acquaint you with the Lodge program and Dr. Gardner.
