Lisa Mann, PhD, Joins Center Team as Program Director

The Center for the Treatment and Study of Neuropsychiatric Disorders is thrilled to officially welcome, Lisa Mann, PhD, as Program Director of the Center. This role is natural step following years of consultant work with Silver Hill — most specifically with The Lodge Program and The Center — as well as the recent publication of Lives Reimagined: Changing the Course of Psychotic Illness, co-authored with Katharine Cutts Dougherty, PhD (above, center). Lives Reimagined chronicles the treatment approach developed at The Lodge under Dr. Rocco Marotta (above, right) and his team.
In her evolved position, Dr. Mann will help drive the planning and development of Center projects and ensure alignment to Center goals and mission. This will include the planning of conferences, training, grand rounds, and other presentations, plus communications, research, and family support.
Dr. Mann was educated at Harvard University, New York University, and St. Luke’s/Roosevelt Hospital Center in New York City. Licensed in both New York and Connecticut, during the past four decades she has been involved in teaching, clinical practice, and administration, directing the Training and Psychological Services, Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at St. Luke’s/Roosevelt Hospital Center from 1992-1996, working as a lower school division psychologist at the Trinity School in New York City from 1996-2000, seeing children and adults in her clinical practice throughout her professional career, and helping to develop, administrate, and present at The Center for the Treatment and Study of Neuropsychiatric Disorders conferences since its founding in 2020.
The daughter of a chamber musician, Dr. Mann is a passionate believer in the art of process, be it in her love of ballet, knitting, or collaborating with the remarkable staff, patients, and families who are connected to The Lodge and the Center.
