Presented by:

Kenneth Pargament, PhD

Professor Emeritus, Department of Psychology,

This presentation will introduce participants to spiritually integrated psychotherapy (SIP) and how they can address the sacred dimension in clinical care. We will discuss what SIP is and is not, and why SIP makes good sense. The remainder of the presentation will consider practical topics, such as: how to invite a spiritual conversation, how to distinguish normal from abnormal spiritual experiences, how to help people access their spiritual resources, and how to help clients address spiritual struggles that may arise in treatment.
