Free Opioid Overdose Prevention
Class Offered In Fairfield
FAIRFIELD, Conn. — The opioid addiction crisis has reached such an epidemic level in Connecticut that a Fairfield group is offering life-saving training to family and friends of users.
Fairfield Cares is offering the free class “Community Opioid Overdose Prevention and Naloxone/Narcan Training” from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 20 at the Fairfield Regional Fire School, 205 One Rod Highway.
Free Narcan kids will be distributed at the end of training courtesy of Silver Hill Hospital and Progressive Diagnostics.
