New National Legislation Targets U.S. Loneliness Crisis
Jeffrey Katzman, MD, Silver Hill Hospital Director of Education comments on the National Strategy for Social Connection Act, new legislation introduced by U.S. Senator Chris Murphy of CT, aimed to address the loneliness epidemic. Katzman, whose lifelong work has been to help patients overcome the isolation that informs so many modern lives, recently participated in the First Annual International Loneliness Conference in Kingston upon Hull, England.
