Aging is the greatest single risk factor for cognitive decline. In recent years, we have seen life expectancy increasing as well as dramatic growth in technology, which can both accelerate and decelerate the rate of decline and everyday functioning. This presentation will review the impact of new technology on older adults and how it can protect brain health or worsen it.
