Alcohol Use Disorder and Pharmacotherapeutic Approaches

In this presentation, we will describe the fundamental pharmacology, acute presentations, and counseling approaches of alcohol use disorder. We will then explore in some detail the clinical aspects of the three FDA-approved medications for its treatment: disulfiram, naltrexone, and acamprosate.
