About the Silver Hill Hospital Patient Financial Aid Fund

Fueled by philanthropic support, the Silver Hill Hospital Patient Financial Aid Fund offers need-based assistance to patients who could otherwise not afford treatment. This assistance helps to address the growing mental health crisis in the United States, where a staggering one in five adults experiences a psychiatric disorder in any given year. The situation is even more dire for young people and, sadly, suicide remains a top three cause of death among adolescents.

The Patient Financial Aid Fund (PFAF) is a lifeline for patients who otherwise would not be able to afford high-quality mental health and addiction care. It offers hope, rekindles joy, and saves lives. At Silver Hill, we strongly believe that everyone, regardless of their circumstances, deserves access to quality mental health care to live a healthier, more fulfilling life.
