Join Stand Together Against Racism (S.T.A.R.) and Silver Hill Hospital experts on Tuesday, May 21 for an in-person panel discussion, Social Media, Loneliness, and Mental Health.

The evening will explore such critical themes as the impact of loneliness on people of all ages, the heightened intensity for populations of minority descent and cultures, and the added influence of social media and bullying, especially for youth.

Moderated by Cheryl Bundy, D.Min, BCC, Director of Spiritual Care at Silver Hill Hospital, the panel includes:

  • Dr. Immacula Cann, DNP, RN-BC, Chief Nursing Officer, Silver Hill Hospital
  • Dr. Elizabeth Ortiz-Schwartz, MD, DFAPA, Attending Psychiatrist and Team Lead, Adolescent Inpatient Unit, Silver Hill Hospital
  • Dr. Eunice Yuen, MD, PhD, Yale New Haven School of Medicine and Child Study Center
  • Maxwell Pearce, Harlem Globetrotter player/ambassador and a frequent speaker and advocate for athletes’ mental health
