We are living in a time of profound disruption, with widespread alarm about the kind of future we are heading into. This four-week online program introduces Thrutopian Resilience — a practical approach to activating hope and finding our best ways through very difficult times.
Participants Will Experience:
- Four live one-hour webinars with optional 30-minute practice session after each class
- Access to accompanying online resource with recordings and additional learning tools
- Storyboard templates that can be applied to challenges you face professionally or personally
- Practical resilience and change making tools to help you and those you support navigate through adversities
- Between-session practices to use yourself or pass along to your colleagues
- Shared learning journey with other practitioners facing similar challenges
Who Should Attend:
Psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, counselors, therapists, and other mental health, health care and people-care professionals: anyone whose work involves helping others navigate difficult times, including coaches, educators, pastoral care providers, HR specialists, community and team leaders.
Session Information and Educational Objectives:
10.15.26 – Session 1: The Story of Active Hope
Discovering hope as a story we can help to happen through us and those we support
As a result of participating in this activity, you should be able to:
- Apply a Thrutopian Framing, distinguish a picture of hope from a story of hope, and identify themselves as beginning Thrutopian Resilience Practitioners
10.22.26 – Session 2: The Balance of Steady and Stirred
How to harness alarm as an activating signal without getting overwhelmed
As a result of participating in this activity, you should be able to:
- Identify patterns of emotional activation and apply practical resilience strategies that help maintain both wellbeing and purposeful engagement
10.29.26 – Session 3: Helping Shift-Points Happen
Facilitating turning points and opening up new pathways when feeling blocked or at a loss
As a result of participating in this activity, you should be able to:
- Identify and facilitate turning points using storyboarding and change-making practices that open pathways forward
10.5.26 – Session 4: What Is Mine to Do?
Finding your part and supporting others to find theirs, to help make it through in the best ways we can
As a result of participating in this activity, you should be able to:
- Adapt the framework within their professional role and develop a realistic action plan for applying it with patients, colleagues and systems

Attendance is not required at all sessions, but it is encouraged. The series cost is the same regardless of the number of sessions attended. If a session is missed, we can provide you with the recorded session, but continuing education credits are not available for missed sessions. Please register below.
