This session will contextualize mental health inequities across diagnostic categories within a sexual and gender minority stress and resilience framework, propose culturally responsive tailoring of evidence-based clinical practices, and offer strategies for building inclusive, affirming, and trauma-informed mental health care environments in order to optimize mental health outcomes for LGBTQIA+ people.

As a result of participating in this activity, learners should be able to:
- Explain the context for mental health inequities for LGBTQIA+ people, across diagnostic categories within a gender minority stress framework
- Describe culturally responsive tailoring of evidence-based clinical practices for LGBTQIA+ people
