Virtual Grand Rounds: Trauma Resiliency Model: a Biological Model to Reprocess Trauma
Presented by:

Trauma Resource Institute
The Trauma Resiliency Model (TRM)® is a biologically based, “bottom-up” approach to reprocessing traumatic experiences, centered on 10 core skills. This mind-body methodology educates and supports individuals who have experienced trauma by addressing how the mind and body respond during and after such events. TRM practitioners guide clients in understanding the neuroscience of trauma and resilience, explaining the physiological and psychological impacts of trauma. The 10 TRM skills serve dual purposes: empowering clients with self-care strategies and employing additional techniques to help them complete unresolved survival responses linked to their traumatic experiences. These skills can function as a standalone intervention or be seamlessly integrated into other therapeutic modalities.
