Everything is Better When Maya Angelou is There
Last Thursday, September 19th, Silver Hill Hospital partnered with the Community Baptist Church in New Canaan for a special evening of conversation and thought, GROUNDING IN HOPE.
Anchored by a Kimberly Wilson performance evoking the poet Maya Angelou and all the wisdom and self-ness that she possessed, the panel dialogue — including Silver Hill’s Andrew J. Gerber, MD, PhD, President & Medical Director; Cheryl Bundy, D.Min, BCC, Director of Spiritual Care; Petra Pilgrim, MD, Director of Steward House; and the City of Norwalk’s Chief of Community Services, Lamond Daniels, LCSW, MPA — centered around the many needs for connection within our communities, and how they might be addressed and approached.
Thank you, Pastor and First Lady Burgess, for setting the perfect stage for meaningful conversation. We look ahead to many sequels — for as we all know, Hope Does Not Disappoint.
