COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Update

Latest Updates

Below are the latest updates at this time:

Safety is our number one priority

At Silver Hill Hospital, the safety of our patients, visitors and staff is our number one priority as we continue to provide life-saving treatment during this time of crisis. We are accepting new inpatient and Transitional Living Program patients and urge those who are struggling at this stressful time to call our Admissions Office at 866-542-4455

We have implemented several safety measures for the protection of those on our campus in response to the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) crisis and we remain committed to providing the best in mental health care for adults and adolescents.  We are rigorously screening new patients to avoid the possibility of spreading the virus on our campus.  As of today, we have had no patients with COVID-19 symptoms.  We have had staff members from one of our inpatient units test positive for COVID-19.  The staff members concerned were not symptomatic at work and have recovered after experiencing mild symptoms at home.  All staff and patients who may have had contact with these staff members have been informed.  We have plans in place to isolate any patients who present symptoms of the virus.  Finally, as a precaution, all of our staff and patients have been asked to wear medical masks.

Our Intensive Outpatient (IOP) services have switched to virtual check-ins and virtual skills groups. The Outpatient programs are not accepting new patients from outside the hospital at this time; however, we are accepting reservations. If you are interested in our Outpatient services, please call our Admissions Office at 203-801-2217

Please call us if you or a loved one is struggling with mental health problems or addiction during this unusual and stressful time.
