DBT IOP
DBT IOP
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) assumes that a person is doing the best they can, AND they need to adopt new behaviors to improve their effectiveness. The function of DBT skills is to help enhance one’s capabilities. There are four core skills taught in DBT: Mindfulness, Emotion Regulation, Interpersonal Effectiveness, Distress Tolerance. In the Silver Hill DBT IOP, participants will build these skills and identify triggers.
