Mood Disorders IOP

This is a unique, multi-modal group designed to treat patients who live with primary mood disorders such as Major Depressive Disorder, Bipolar I or Il Disorder, and related symptoms.

Group topics and themes include, family and relationships, improving daily functioning, and illness management. Therapeutic approaches include CBT, DBT, experiential therapies, education, and process groups to enhance understanding of mental illness, increase coping skills, and decrease severity of symptoms.

Participants in the Mood Disorder IOP can continue to see their existing providers or may have the option of utilizing a psychiatrist and therapist through Silver Hill Hospital if they do not have providers in place. 

Mood Disorders IOP Schedule

4 Day/Week Option:

In-Person 4 days per week for 6 weeks:

  • Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays 1:00pm – 4:30pm
  • Fridays 9:00am – 12:30pm

3 Day/Week Option:

In-Person 3 days per week for 8 weeks:

  • Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays from 9:00am – 12:20pm

Silver Hill Hospital Outpatient Services include Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) IOPWeekly Groups, and the Care Navigation and Support program.  All programs are led by expert, licensed clinicians with extensive training and experience in guiding patients toward perhaps the most important goals of their life. We practice a team approach to care and work collaboratively to help individuals achieve their goals.
