Helping College-Age Youth Move Forward

Why do high-achieving youth get stuck? And how can they get “un-stuck”? Why do some young adults with big goals and dreams lose their direction? Such youth often think deeply and creatively, and are able to explore these core conflicts, but may not know where to start. Current outpatient services are usually not specifically tailored to such young adults. The twice-weekly Young Minds group offers a space to explore these challenges with expert clinical support and peer connection.
About the Program
This six-week, creative group helps participants get “unstuck” by drawing upon expert guidance, multiple therapeutic modalities, and most importantly, each other. Led by Amanda Calhoun, MD, MPH, sessions foster self-awareness, validation & affirmation, resilience, and peer support through focused discussion, creative reflection, and high-level mind exercises.
